“A warm, welcoming and well equipped cottage in a wonderful location.”
Reviewed May 10, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The cottage overlooks the sea and is perfect for watching the yachts on The Solent. It's positioned in between the bustling port of Yarmouth which has numerous quaint pubs which serve tasty meals and the Woodland walk above Fort Victoria . The cafe at Fort Victoria serves a hearty breakfast. From here is an easy 20 min walk to a lovely scenic walk to Colwell Bay which has a sandy beach and a traditional seaside feel with places to buy delicious local ice-creams and your bucket and spade. For the energetic, the coastal path will take you at least as far as Tennyson Downs and has some stunning views. An amazing place to stay. We will be back!

Fantastic family break. Perfect location, stunning views. Super wooded walk for dogs and so close to sea. Quiet area. Cottage had absolutely everything we needed. Clean and welcoming.
Locals all very friendly didn't find one pub that didn't welcome dogs.
Will definitely come back and thoroughly recommend this cottage.

“Perfect”
Reviewed April 7, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

This was our 1st visit to the IOW.
We did tour the island whilst there and realised that we couldn't of chosen a nicer place to stay.
Beach cottage was lovely with all mod cons, very clean, tastefully decorated everything was there that you would expect in your own home.
The view over the Solent from the bedroom was lovely to wake up to.
The area wasn't lively which was one of the reasons we chose Beach Cottage, but if you wanted to visit more livelier areas it was only a small drive.
If you like walking, cycling, fantastic scenery, great with our dog, with a relaxing evening after a hard days slog snuggling up to an open fire we couldn't of chosen better.
If your a surf fisherman like myself, even better, less than a few minutes walk from the doorstep and your on the beach, all safe fishable areas.from Yarmouth pier 15minutes walk right along the coast to the needles all great easily accessible surf fishing areas, really a surf fishermans paradise, it wouldn't take no more than 30 minutes anywhere on the island to get access to surf fishing.
Great place and great cottage for all the family to enjoy.
We will definitely return

“Cosy well presented cottage in fantastic location”
Reviewed March 19, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed at Beach Cottage for a long weekend with our 2 small dogs.
At the risk of sounding like a Homes Under the Hammer presenter, the cottage has been refitted to a high spec ... lovely kitchen, bathroom with fab shower, and the bed was so comfy! Location is amazing, loved just sitting watching the boats come and go, and the beach was perfect for strolls with the dogs. The small courtyard garden overlooking the water is railed in, so dog secure... we didn't use the back garden at all as this is over an access path and not secure or enclosed, but we knew this from previous reviews so wasn't an issue.
Would recommend this property, think it's ideal for couples, and lovely for dogs. Welcome wine and juice was a nice touch - thank you :)
