“superbly restful and delightful accommodation”
Reviewed September 5, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This apartment is in a heavenly location. The views from the front and side windows are glorious and its very close to the coastal path for walkers. On the more remote part of the Island it benefits from being beachside, you can hear the waves at night. The accommodation is spacious so if you have a big group you can still find privacy. Any slight problems were dealt with by the owners promptly. I would recommend this for a larger family group without reservation. The kitchen is well equipped so cooking for the family is easy and you are on a beachside walk. Perfect if what you want is comfort and the sea.

Wow factor from the moment you open the door, everything was spotless, clean, tidy and organised.
A spacious and well equipped apartment, large bedrooms, comfortable beds, jacuzzi bath, stereo system and decent TV,what more cold you ask for ? well before you say anything, look out any of the windows, the view is breathtaking especially at sunset.
Even though the Waterfront bar is only 50 metres walk along the front,we never used it as we felt more comfortable drinking in the apartment, taking in the glorious views and we probably saved ourselves a hundred pounds by buying our drinks from the supermarket.

Hope to return next year.

“A great family holiday in a quiet location.”
Reviewed August 10, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Beach House Apartment is situated on the quiet Totland Bay on the north west coast of the Isle of Wight. The apartment has four big bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen dining area and two bathrooms, both with showers. It also has a paved, enclosed patio area and an more open beach hut with barbecue. The apartment is very well appointed, clean, tidy and in a great location. To wake up to the sound of the sea close by and then go for a wander up the shingle/pebbly beach was fun although the path to the nearby Colwell Bay was shut(not the owners fault!) The apartment is in a quiet location and does require some travel to other places of interest but that is more than made up for by its quiet location. A quiet note of caution is that whilst the apartment is large, spacious and would be great for a wheelchair user, access may be difficult with steps to access both entrances. If you do stay, open up the Beach Hut get the barbecue out and then sit, drink, eat and watch the sun go down with friends whilst the children play on the beach...a superb way to end the day. The best recommendation I can make...I would love to return!

“Great English holiday week”
Reviewed July 29, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We had a lovely week in the apartment - although the weather wasn't great - the beach was fun to play on and watching all the tooing and froings. Sadly the walkway to colwell bay was closed but that beach is sandy and has a great restaurant called The Hut.

The apartment is a good size and great for a mixed group of diff ages too. Large well designed rooms and a well stocked kitchen. We were determined to use the beach hut although not great weather - but it's nicely sheltered and the view is great!! The bbq and outdoor equipment adds to the charm.

We had a couple of small issues but with one call they were easily and quickly sorted out. Clean house well situated.

“Brilliant Holiday All round wonderful views gorgeous rental”
Reviewed July 24, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This holiday home had lots of space, very clean, good kitchen and equipment. The furniture was to a high standard and loved the large table to seat us all (made a change from squeezing on the edge with an odd chair). The bedrooms were all a good size and the main bathroom was very luxurious.

The Views were spectacular and we had close views of the sea and Cowes Race.

The garden furniture was kept in the laundry room as it was wooden and in good condition.

Communication with Robbie the owner was very good.

The beach is pebbles and the pier unusable now, but people fished from the shore and swam in the sea every day, also a lot of ship and small vessel activity. The sunsets were amazing.

There is a pub a short walk at the end of the prom, it sold mainly sea food. Only had a drink, but views are just as good from your own window.

There are a few local shops, which you could do a small shop at easily. The main supermarkets are a good distance away, mainly Newport and further. I had a Tesco shop delivered which I ordered before the holiday and this lasted us most of the week. The fridge and freeze are large and cupboard space left to store shopping.

This is a quiet part of the Island, but traveling to Ventnor, Shanklin etc. is a beautiful coastal route.

The sun shone for us and although at times it was very windy the English climate was kind for our special family holiday from 3 years to 91 years of age we all enjoyed it all.

Thank you Robbie for sharing your holiday home.

“Superb holiday location”
Reviewed April 10, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This is our fourth year on the island staying at the Beach House Apartment and we love it. It is the perfect holiday home in the most perfect location. It has everything we need, home from home. 3 spacious double bedrooms, twin room for the children and a large spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area which is great as we come with friends so evenings spent, cooking, chilling and socialising. Secure fenced garden and front so children are safe to play. What tops it all off is the fact the sea is on your doorstep, our children love it and look forward to returning every year. Booking is easy, great value for money and the owners are very friendly and accommodating
