This place is amazing. It was freezing when we went but they have a small shelter for smaller kids to go and do some games and activities like colouring. My kids aged 6 and 3 loved feeding the ducks and birds. The flamingoes were my favourite but the kids loved the penguins and the feeding. My only very small gripe was that when the penguin feeding started they didn't ask people to sit down (they have purpose built tiered seating) so we had to stand up to get a view and by that time everyone had crowded round the front so my kids couldn't see.

The cafe is also a bit pricey. We would have taken a picnic but the freezing temperatures ruled this out and so we spent nearly as much in the cafe feeding us as we did on park entry!

Definitely one of the best attractions if you've got smaller kids though, just take a picnic.

I took a family of four, children aged 8 and 5 to Seaview Wildlife Encounter on Good Friday and had such a good day out we still havent stopped talking about it.
The interaction with the animals was excellent and gave the kids and me a real treat. It kept us busy with scedhuled talks and feeding times every hour or so. The staff were really helpful and knowledge and took a genuine interest in the children and their questions.
Even though it was freezing cold we were still there enjoying ourselves for over 4 hours. I would highly recommend this attraction to any family who like animals.

Having been to the Isle on numerous occasions, this was our 1st visit to this park. We had 3 generations in our party, and we all enjoyed it. Regarding price - we paid just under £50 for 6 of us, including 3 bags of bird seed (75p a bag). We were there for at least 5 hours, so we didn't think it was too bad as it worked out at approx. £1.58 per hour, per person. The good thing about Seaview is the timetable. We watched the Pelicans being fed at 11.00, helped feed the penguins with sprats at 11.30, fed the parrots peanuts at 12.00, held a cockroach at 1.00, fed the wallabies at 2.15 and saw the meerkats being fed at 2.30...etc... There are not many wildlife places that you can be so hands on which was a big plus point. We did however feel that the keepers could have spent a little bit longer telling us about the different animals. The tropical house was amazing with many birds flying freely, and was a welcoming warm on the day we went. However, despite all of this, my 7 year old nephew just really enjoyed feeding the ducks - of which there are plenty, all looking to be fed. The 3 children got through 6 bags of duck food and could have used more. The tea and coffee was good from the tea shop. We took our own lunch which it was easy to leave in the car and pop back for, as the site is not too big, and there are plenty of picnic benches. The gift shop has some nice and unusual things in it. The toilets were clean and nicely decorated. A good family day out, particularly for those with younger children or Ornithologists.

Not very big but beautifully presented grounds and animal exhibits. The timed shows were interesting. The restaurant onsite was lovely but simply couldn't cope with the lunchtime rush

Lovely choice of animals which are well looked after in a lovely environment ... We live on the island and would visit more often if they were cheaper or offered a deal or loyalty card
