We have visited 10/11 times in the last 6 months. This is a favourite as the food is consistent. If you get an outside seat, sea views are your game where as inside lends itself to a modern warm look. Although the staff are children friendly the customers tend not to be but if you keep your children under your wing then you'll be fine. Don't let that put you off if your kids like enjoying real food rather than rubbish that has been microwaved. Give it a go but take more money that you would normally.

Had a lazy sunday lunch with friends yesterday. The atmosphere and service is as good as ever and the staff very helpful.
We have visited several times and stayed here too (very good) and always found nothing to complain about.
However the roast beef yesterday had obviously been on the hot plate for quite some time and had passed the well done stage, the vegetables unfortunately suffered the same fate. Yorkshires were good though !
I know we had a table at the end of service but surely the first plate of food should be as good as the last ?
That said, we'll be back, but maybe stick to Moules rather than the roast.

Took my 85 year old Mum there last week for a short break, the staff couldn't be more helpful taking our bags up to our rooms & being more than helpful when my Mum wanted a top sheet on her bed in addition to the duvet (don't forget she grew up with & still has sheets & blankets!) Ate there 1 night & the breakfast all 3 mornings was lovely, couldn't wish to stay in a nicer place & will definately be going back there. Carry on what you are doing!

We were staying at the Holiday village nearby and decided to walk here one night to have a meal. Very varied selection of food and a couple of real ales on offer.
We found our waitress very charming and helpful
We both had the crab cakes from the main menu which was served with a salad and chips. Quite a large meal but very tasty.
We went back a couple of nights later and had the mussels in tomato and white wine sauce served with a side of fresh bread. Also delicious.
Again we had the same charming waitress and we also found the bar staff very helpful.
Lots to choose from on the specials board you are spoilt for choice!
