A small winery that obviously does well with the coach parties but is a bit too busy and noisy if you are independent travellers. We couldnt hear the video for the noise so escaped for a coffee in the uninspiring cafe next door. We were made quite welcome when we returned for a complimentary taste of the wines but were not impressed enough to buy.

We we're welcomed straight away by John, who was really helpful, informative and invited us in to a coach tour and tasting session which was very interesting and informative. A great selection of wines, ciders and liquers for everybody. All staff were so friendly and we were glad we decided to pop in last minute! We're a young couple and still found it enjoyable, and bought a bottle of their Ashey Mist!

Visited with a coach party I was interested in the talk which lasted just over half an hour but room was so cold it became difficult to concentrate. Had a nice cup of tea in cafe afterwards where it was warmer

Visited the vineyard on a Sunday morning and were welcomed into the little gift shop. We were given a tour of the distillery along with a lot of wine samples.

The wine itself was very good but more importantly it felt like it was made out of passion. Every naive question we asked was answered as well as possible.

On the whole it was a great hour spent and would like to recommend it if you were in the area.

We popped into RV on our way to the ferry, after a great weekend on the IOW. We were a few minutes early, the gift shop was open. The traffic in and out was disorganised, and was getting busy as they were setting up for the Xmas fayre. We were made to feel totally unwelcome, staff did not acknowledge we were there. We like the IOW but it becoming commonplace, from the locals to be unpleasant. The staff at the hotel we stayed in were eastern european and they were great. The locals could learn some social skills from them.
Wont be going back there in a hurry.
