“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2011

A free to enter venue with friendly staff and very good guided tour, ending in a free tasting session. A selection of red and white wines...produced on site. The cafe was good and cream tea scones the size of rocks but they only take cash (wine shop accepts cards). Overall, well worth a visit.

This place is a gem. The tour is very informative and at no charge also the tastings are very good. The staff can help with your selection and do . The coffee shop is very good with wonderful scones. The only down side on our second visit of the holiday was the coach parties sitting in the cafeteria inside & out taking up seats and tables and not buying anything. Others like us with our trays of food had a problem trying to find a seat.

“Worth a Visit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2011

We visited the vineyard and were pleasantly surprised. The walk around the vineyard was very informative and as you were left to go at your own pace we didn't feel too rushed or too bored. The tour of the brewery part was again informative but did not dwell on the technical side too much. It was good to learn how the wines are made from the picking of the grapes to the botting. There was a free wine tasing session. No limit and everything from liquers to apple juice available. We didn't stop in the cafe but heard plenty of good comments regarding the refeshments available. A nice way to pass an hour without feeling pressured into buying anything.
