We've been coming here for over 50 years so my report is a little biased, but, I believe accurate.
Consistent ( at least for 50 years) but I always get the perch dinner
Their specialty is fried fish and greasy fries( that are probably illegal in New York and California) so although their other food is consistent and good, don't expect the ceviche with the braised artichokes
Excellent service, usually very quick, even when they are quite busy
Excellent beer selection( I have found the Ohio wines not to my liking, but available)
These fries are so greasy they have a disclaimer on the menu, which means you must try them and just eat salads the next day
Wonderful antiquities and keepsakes on the wall to keep you busy waiting on your food
Excellent ambiance, almost ocean vibe in this place, I would not be surprised to see Jimmy Buffet walk in at any moment
This place gets packed especially on the weekends so we come before the crowds and chill
Every time we came here my dad would complain that when it was Evan's back in the 50's the perch dinners were 39 cents and I guess I just miss my dad.
