“Sailing into happiness”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

Stopped by for a lunchtime nibble. Incredibly tasty food for all of us and all served in an excellent atmosphere. The cafe is light and airy, the staff are really nice. The menu is simple, panini, all day breakfast, quiche, soup, toasted bagel, the benefit of which means quick service, but this speed doesn't mean a compromise on taste in anyway. The whole experience exuded quality. Definite place to stop off when in Cowes.

“Great little cafe-highly recommend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012 via mobile

We stopped at this Cafe for a late lunch and so glad we did. Often cafes are abit hit and miss but this one was spot on. All day breakfast was cooked exactly how I asked with no problems, other members of my group had food which was great quality and freshly cooked - not just zapped in a microwave. Lovely nautical theme and kitchen looked very clean. Fresh water was also given to our dogs as we were sitting on table outside of window. Both female staff members were very friendly and polite.

“Clearly not child friendly”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

Poor kids menu, only a small breakfast on offer. No customer toilets. Food was nice but portions small for adults making it expensive. Plus in this day and age they only accept cash. Very small cafe and should really just be a sandwich shop to take away.

“A perfect breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2012

Sails is a cosy cafe in a nautical style that has tasty, freshly made food and great coffee. I love breakfast there, especially the scrambled eggs. Service is friendly - you'll walk out with a smile!

“A nice litte cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2011

Sails is a nice little cafe which provides the daily papers as well as decent, simple food. Good for breakfasts, which is when we usually go, it's also fine for morning coffee, afternoon tea and lunch. Last time we went was for lunch. The home-made soup was excellent and came as a large bowl full. The owner is a kindly chap who seems constantly worried about things. As a result, things are done. In the past, he has gone out and bought croissants for us, because that's what we really wanted. Service!
