My wife and I had a lovely meal in this tiny Cowes bistro. Quite a limited menu but very interesting and tasty food. I had an excellent sea bass with a curry broth and my wife had a perfectly cooked steak. staff very helpful(worth making the effort to chat to them as we found out !). Very romantic and unrushed meal. Absolutely need to book.

The owner is so helpful and even if you haven't been for a while she remembers which wine you like. Service is VERY GOOD The food is good and the menu changes enough to make life interesting!

Definitely a place to eat while in Cowes. Tucked away, so you need to stumble across it like we did. Group of 7 - great home cooked food and a friendly feel to the place. A real gem and worth checking out if you are on holiday or sailing to Cowes for the weekend.

we had a 3 course meal and didnt feal like there ws enough food- very small potato portions. The waitress seamed very stressed it was a busynight and maybe ther ought to be two people serving. i agree with other reviews in that she might need a bit of "front of house customer service" training. what we had of the food ws really good, but it was a bit pricey. i mark it down because i have had better for less money.

Our food was generally excellent and the steak was fantastic (most of us tried a bit). My sea bass was soft and prepared in a good, but unusual way. Veg was a bit uninspired. Small portions of potato too. The wine list is very interesting. The waitress needs training - the curse of so many good places. She asked "who's getting this?" about one of the drinks and tended to plonk things down. She had no idea who ordered what - again typical of UK establishments. The management should know better and should not allow this to happen. It's their fault.
