We had a fabulous weekend at this hotel. The room was a good size, clean and had a good supply of tea, coffee, boiled sweets, bottled water and a complimentary chocolate!
The staff at the hotel were friendly and courteous at all times. We even received an anniversary card from them when they knew that was the reason for our visit!
The bonus for us was the fact that the restaurant food was really good. There was a choice of bar menu, set price 3 course menu (which changed daily) and hote de cuisine menu. The chef is brilliant and cooked everything to our liking.
Would we recommend it? Yes.
Will we visit again? Definitely.
Well done to the manager and staff for the fabulous service.

Staying locally we were initially reticent to use a chain hotel. However, this family run franchise is superb. Kathy and Sarah in the restaurant were helpful, chatty, witty and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The food was stunning from the Brie starter to beef and lamb mains to the Cointreau flavoured cream profiteroles. All cooked perfectly with bags of flavour- definitely a chef who knows what he is doing and takes pride in his work. The three course menu de jour including coffee is £23 each, which given prices elsewhere is tremendous value. We have booked already for tomorrow night. Brilliant, well worth a visit.
