Description: The Robin Hood Tring is a lovely 16th Century pub, right on the edge of Tring town centre. With its log burning stoves and cosy low ceilings, the pub delivers a warm welcome in every sense - plus an exciting menu, excellent real ales and good old-fashioned service with a smile. Speciality Sausage nights on Tuesday and Thursday. Food is served all day on Saturday's Sundays from 1800hrs Tip Kao Thai takes over serving authentic fresh cooked Thai. JJ prepares a delightful menu with weekly specials to eat in or take away.

“New Thai food”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

The Robin Hood have decided to trial serving Thai food on a Sunday night. We went there last Sunday and the pub was very busy, a lot of people had booked, we hadn't but that wasn't a problem. We ordered our food and as the table hadn't been set they brought the cutlery with some very nice spicy prawn crackers. We did wait quite a while for the food, but they were busy and it was a good cheerful atmosphere. When the food arrived it was lovely, my green curry slightly too hot for my taste, but freshly cooked
The menu was rather limited, but hopefully if they continue serving the Thai food there will be more choice in the future.

“Pub is fine, B&B not so fine”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

We booked a nights bed and breakfast and met friends in the pub for a meal. The food and drink was fine (although the choice limited as they had run out of a number of options) and service friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, but was the living room of a one bedroom house, so the bathroom and toilet were shared. Tea and coffee facilities and cutlery and crockery were shoe horned into the wardrobe together with a fridge containing our breakfast. Sleep was impossible after 7.00 when the occupant upstairs got up and creaked around their room ( not their fault, just a very creaky ceiling) and the limp croissant in the fridge was a travesty of the real thing. All in all, £60 seemed like a lot for a rather half hearted attempt at providing accommodation.

“Great place to have a drink and lovely food”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

We visit quite often as its always very welcoming and warm. The owners are so friendly and the food is so tasty. All fresh and well cooked. Not bad value for money either. Would recommend this place, especially in winter when they have the fire going.
