We had a day off work, so took advantage of a leisurely lunch at Prezzo - our first visit. We had been to the establishment when it was La Tasca and Forno Vivo before that. The service was prompt and we enjoyed a dish of plump olives and a glass of red wine. My partner had Pollo Carbonara which he loved and I chose 'light' Proscuitto e Funghi pizza. The pizza was served on a wooden board with a bowl of mixed salad. It was delicious, but I have knocked a star off as I found the salad dressing a little tart, and I wasn't sure whether I should pile the salad on to the board or not. The bill was just over £33 which seems a lot but I suppose that's par for the course nowadays. The general decor was very nice and there was a mixture of couples and families enjoying themselves but it wasn't crowded.
