Description: The Hotel offers 35 en-suite bedrooms at great value in a town centre location. We also offer private parking for our guests and a wonderful Carvery Restaurant. In the warmer months we open our delightful terrace for al fresco drinking and dining. Our 180 seater restaurant is very popular with all the Letchworth folk and word of our fantastic value for money carvery has spread to surrounding areas. We are proud of our wide variety of delicious starters and desserts and our mouth-watering grill menu.

I often go to The Broadway to eat and always have a lovely experience. All the staff are friendly and helpful and have never had a complaint about the food. The menu has a good selection as well as the carvery being delicious too!!

We have frequented the car very quite a few times over the past couple of years experiencing on the most part a pretty reasonable meal, however today's car very was pretty poor. The two cokes we had were basically soda water, hardly any flavouring. The turkey was on the brink of really not being cooked thru properly, the onion with gravy dish was completely undercooked, and the cauliflower in the cauliflower and broccoli dish was just so hard it was impossible to even cut. The gravy is normally good here but today it was just a brown coloured water, the whole dinner was very poor and extremely disappointing and even with the discount voucher £7.95 per person does not represent good value when you can't eat half your dinner.

We came here tonight and I was so pleased with how the evening went that I felt I should come and review it now while the experience was fresh in my mind. We were seated by a lovely waitress who proceeded to take our order quite quickly. Out of six of us there, two wanted carvery, the other three wanted steak and the only child present ordered off the kids menu (which admittedly is a little limited but made for easy selection by the child) I think the ambiance of this place is charming, little fairy lights gave a gorgeous glowy feel to everything. When the food arrived, one of the steak was overcooked. When pointed out, this was immediately taken away and re-done, to specification and 40% was deducted from the cost of the steak and a complimentary double vodka and coke given. The next steak came out before the other meals had been consumed. Great customer service! The carvery was delicious. Meat tender, veg firm and colourful. The potatoes were yummy once introduced to the meaty, rich gravy. The only real let down was the tough stuffing but it was a minor disappointment and no way dampened the evening. Pudding was delectable. Definitely recommend the hot chocolate brownie. Also, the kids menu was very good value, and came with free ice cream which I was 100% expecting to be a small bowl with 1 scoop in. In reality it was an ice cream sundae of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate, and even a squirt of cream. Perfect. We came for a birthday and The Broadway Carvery certainly made it enjoyable. Will definitely be returning!

The food was less than average but our waitress was lovely and gave us very good service. However - because of the food - we wont be eating here again.
