After breaking down on our return home we had an extended weekend break here, the staff were more than helpful, the local people very friendly. The place is very lively on a weekend but if you cant beat them join them. The hotel is currently being re-decorated and modernised, the bed was comfortable, bath nice and hot and breakfast for £5.00 at whatever time you prefer was delicious. I would probably recommend this hotel for young couples, stag or hen parties due to the nightclub downstairs. thank you to all the staff there for their hospitality.

many thanks Jodie & Mark

Room Tip: Double rooms a bargain at £45 + £5.00 breakfast

Firstly it "STANK" like damp and dust, when I walked through the front door I felt sick due to the smell. There is cracked walls and roofs. I was horrified by the decoration. Any one planning on going there is mental. The staff weren't organized, they weren't dressed smartly and they was one member of staff drinking a pint when I arrived. I had to wait 10 minutes before I was seen to. The windows weren't double glazed. The food looked like dog food and also the servery was covered in grease and dirt. If you're thinking of coming to Leominster do NOT stay here.

Room Tip: Don't go there at all. Book another place.

3 of us stayed, over 3 nights, a good price and we needed a town centre place to visit lovely Leominster. Staff looked after us, and were really helpful to us. Friendly atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. We hope to return here when we next are wanting to come to Leominster.

My wife and I stayed at The Royal Oak on Good Friday/Sat April 19. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. It is also a pub and there was some noise which we expected. It did not spoil our stay in the beautiful historic town of Leominster.

Room Tip: If you are bothered by people enjoying themselves either do not stay or you could try a room at the...

From the photographs on their website it loooks amazing - find me this photographer quick, I could do with his handiwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an awful place. It can't be doing the town of Leominsters reputation any good. The rooms are terrible - old beds, peeling paintwork, worn bedding. Music pumped out till after one in the morning and people vomitting by hotel entrance. A real dive. No fire regulations on back of doors either!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think the owners need to spend some big money - a real shame has potential with investment as in great position.
