Description: A 70 seat restaurant that is part of The Grove Golf Centre, 2 miles outside Leominster. We have a varied menu to suit all tastes, catering for all dietary requirements. I deal for an intimate meal for 2, family Get togethers or larger celebration dinners.

This charming, intimate restaurant provides excellent food and fantastic, friendly service.
I have eaten at The Hickory Stick many times and never had a bad meal. Tucked away off the A49 at Ford Bridge and being part of the Grove Golf & Bowl facilities, it could be easily overlooked when booking in the area. Make sure you give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

We went on a wednesday evening when they have a steak measl and bowling for £10, this was very good and we had a great laugh. A very good idea to have both together. Staff very helpful.
We returned on Friday morning and had a go on the driving range followed by coffee. and then decided to have a game of bowling, we again had a good laugh, we would totally reccomend.

A great venue set in the heart of beautiful Herefordshire Countryside, the restaraunt is bright, peaceful and full of character, with lovely views. Our Sunday lunch was delicious; the goats cheese starter was quite exceptional and the roast beef lived up to the highest expectations. Despite our late arrival, the vegetables were fresh, the staff very friendly and the service attentive. The Mississippi Pudding satisfied even the most ardent chocaholic. With a party ranging in ages from 11 to 77, we then moved on to the impressive Bowling alley where everyone had enormous fun working off their lunch. Unfortunately we did not have time for golf too but great to have an excuse to come back soon.

Arrived a little late for our booking, but there was no rush to have our order,we were left to choose our meal, and what a treat we were in for!Starters were beautifully presented, and the main courses were hot and more than substantial.Vegetables were cooked to perfection. Not a great fan of desserts, usually go for the cheese and biscuit option, but the Sticky Toffee Pudding with ice cream was to die for!!Fabulous end to a fabulous lunch!!Thank you to all at The Grove for an excellent Sunday lunch.

Had a mini school reunion here this weekend. Roger, Graham and the staff certainly looked after our large group very well! Food, service and atmosphere was excellent and the venue is perfect for large parties! Thank you to all the staff for making our evening perfect and not forgetting the guys who looked after us in the bowling alley. Would thoroughly recommend!
