Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. The staff were great; extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. There are other eating places around the vicinity of the hotel, but as we'd had a busy day on arrival and a very busy day in London the following day, we decided to eat at the hotel each evening. Menu is limited, but the food was very good and not particularly expensive. They serve an excellent glass of Merlot too! The only minor 'complaint' is that the bed was just a double; not a king. This may have been because I only booked a standard double room; not sure. Wasn't really a problem, but thought it should be mentioned in case anyone is expecting at least a king size bed in their room. Our room was clean. The bathroom was quite large; as was the shower. For the ladies; I can confirm the hairdrier was very efficient:-)

Room Tip: If you want a king size bed; check before you book that there is one in the room

Chose this hotel as it was only 15mins drive from the Harry Potter studios tour, and the room rate was good value. Parking is plentiful and complimentary. Rooms are standard HIEX - space is limited with a sofa bed in use, but for a one night stop it was perfectly adequate. Breakfast is included with decent hot and cold options. There is a canal side pub/restaurant just over from the car park which was quite nice. We ate there the evening we arrived. Location is quiet, and in a residential area. Rail station pretty much on site too if needed. We were happy with our stopover. Thanks.

The hotel is nice and quiet, situated next to the railway station and closeby there are beautiful restaurants and bars along the river. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathroom is clean!
The breakfast is ok,there are other options of you are not a fan of typical English breakfast.

Hotel options are very limited in the area. The rooms are mostly clean. It is local to a pub that does half decent food. Check in and check out is usually pretty quick. Breakfast is an average or slightly below average buffet.
