BW Watermill Hotel is situated in Bourne End, close to the A41. It has a small river running through and you can in some 10 min walk along the Grand Union Canal. Surprisingly nice area. The rooms and beds are generally good and the bar menu is affordable and the quality of the food is OK. I had issues with the service at the breakfast - I was busy and had no time to wait to have coffe and toast served. In my room there was an issue with the radiator (could not be shut - so quit hot). Furthermore you may have to park up at the meadow - but it is only an issue if you arrive late or the hotel is very busy. Based on my last visit I have to report this evaluation but the general standard of the service is usually better.

Good value for money, but came over more as a budget hotel. The Water Mill certainly lives upto it name, it's was very noisy and impossible to sleep with window open. Staff were very pleasant but level of understanding English was sadly lacking in atleast 2 individuals case.

Nice, comfortable, value for money. Good location as base for touring the area. Mix up over breakfast charges, but quickly resolved. All in all an enjoyable stay. The two pubs across the road are recommended too. One is a "beer local", the other is for a nice pub food dinner.

This is a nice hotel in the countryside. We had a very large room with a vey good bed. We only miss a frige and a safe in the room.
We had breakfast and a buffe dinner and the food was very good.
We will use tthis hotel agin if we visit this part of England.

My wife and I stayed here Saturday 28th September. The bed was soft and as such not good for us and our backs - it might work for others. The duvet was very thin and no extra blankets/pillows etc. left in room. Told not to drink tap water but only one small bottle of water each as replacement. The shower's temperature regulator failed so it was not possible to take a shower as too hot. Old school decor in need of an update and the staff whilst helpful were so busy and slow that really it needed more people on the front desk and the bar.
