We ate at this popular restaurant last week. It was busy . The staff are attentive and friendly. Rachel was great. Apart from the bread basket which was not a basket and the bread was white and not fresh, we asked for brown but nine was available, we all chose steak with béarnaise sauce. The steak was superb, flavoursome and tender, chips were average. The wine Rioja was good and not overpriced. All in all an excellent dinner.

We celebrated our daughters Holy Communion here. The staff couldn't have done more for us. Great atmosphere, very tasty food and spot-on service. Many thanks.

I live a few hundred yards from the red ikon and it's always been the place for a special treat but last Saturday I took a friend there and was really disappointed. Warmed through veg with the roast. Burnt toast for the brushechetta and a bland dry role for the burger which I'd had great hopes for. Come on chefs raise your game again.

Spent a lovely evening celebrating a friends birthday . The staff are very attentive without being intrusive. The menu is varied and the pizzas are freshly made and taste wonderful. We also had breakfast a couple of weeks later that was also very good and reasonably priced Would recommend a visit

A special dinner for 5 of us on an Easter Sunday was something we all looked forward too. The dinning area and pub look very welcoming and its a modern layout. Modern and fresh looking. The actual dinning area has high ceilings and this does we think contribute to some noise from other dinners. This is not a quiet place for a meal, but this should not put you off. The staff are very friendly and attentive we found. They work hard and do keep things going. Food is what is gastro pub style. There are specials as well as your normal types of burger and pizzas. The style here does lean towards Italian. The only issue we had with the meal was that all 3 pork bellies arrived without the crackling. An oversight which was corrected by some adjustments to the bill. All out meals were to a good standard but maybe a little pricey. In particular the cheese board which although had a fantastic selection of cheeses and extras was priced at over £10. No crackers by the way, bread instead. Over all a lovely meal and we will go back again to sample.
