Whilst on a short break , we decided to visit Bromyard , been there before and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . As we were walking around we noticed the Hop pole, in Market Square , so decided to go in and have a cup of tea . MISTAKE !! We went straight to the bar ( we were the only ones in there ) . The young lady took our order so we went and sat down in the Bay window and it was then that we noticed what a disgusting state the place was in , On each table was a small tapered vase with a plastic flower in it , the vases looked as if they had just been dug up out of someones garden , they were that dirty . The plastic holders that held the menu was filthy , and the dust that was on the backs of the wooden dining chairs had got to be seen to be believed , you could have written your name in it , in fact I DID . And now for the bay windows , they couldn't have seen a window cleaner in years , they were absolutely disgusting . How any one could eat , or sleep in any of their rooms , is beyond me , the place was disgraceful . What I find incredible is , the people that run this hovel cant possibly have any housekeeping skills , because the things that I have highlighted hit you straight away , but obviously not them !!!! My wife said to me why wasn't the girl doing some cleaning , as we were the only ones in there . Please avoid this place , we only went in for a cup of tea , but came out in disgust .
