This week my wife and I enjoyed dinner at the Zeera Indian Restaurant located in Bovingdon village in West Hertfordshire. Over the years we have frequented this cosy restaurant which has a great atmosphere and is a very popular choice for locals and village visitors alike, always being well attended, reservations are preferred.
The fully licensed restaurant, with its polite, attentive and friendly service, offers an excellent value lunch and dinner menus of quality contemporary Indian cuisine. Our evening meal commenced with a half dozen poppadoms with pickles, two main dishes with tasty sauces both with rice, two vegetable side dishes plus two rounds of wine and beer totalling a very affordable £20 per head including our 10% tip. At the end of the meal we were offered liquors on the house together with a well presented tray of sweeties.
A take away service is also available, but why would you take food away when this restaurant has absolutely everything for an enjoyable and relaxing meal out. We definitely recommend Zeera in Bovingdon.
