Owner description: In the heart of the glorious New Forest, Beaulieu is one of the South's top visitor attractions. Here you will find the National Motor Museum, home to over 250 vehicles telling the history of motoring. You can also visit Palace House and Gardens, home of the Montagu family since 1538, the remains of Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear where you can see some of the vehicles from Jeremy, James and Richard's most ambitious challenges. Ride on the high level Monorail or climb aboard the replica 1912 open top London bus for a fun way to see Beaulieu's sights.

My title does not do overall justice to the attraction, it has been over 25 years since we last visited the Motor Museum and whilst there are some extremely interesting exhibits to be seen and much attention has been made to make it a family attraction we were a little disappionted at the amount of space that has been given over to the James Bond cars and other forms of vehicles including boats and planes. This has resulted in some of the cars and motorcycles being cramped together. That being said it was still an interesting day and a new experience for my daughter. We do have one serious grumble and that was the cost of food and drink in the Restaurant / Cafeteria, if you are a family visiting then take a packed lunch you save yopurself a subsatntial amount of money.

It's not a expensive day out with voucher about £15 each and if you gift aid it then you can return within a year unlimited times.
The top gear bit and bond show are first class very well done indeed, the rest of it is just ok.
The coffee shop is outrageously priced with sandwiches at £4.50 and a Pepsi at £2, ripoff sorry but it spoilt the day!

In summary it's well worth it if you are a fan of Bond of top gear!

We want ed somewhere we could go because of the changable weather. When we arrived the entrance fee gave me a heartattack, but we carried on. We had been before and the Wheels ride is very good but it was closed due to maintenance. However the James Bond exhibit was brilliant so muh from the flims and more and also the World of Top Gear was very good to. The exhibits that where close should have reduced the entrance fee but did not. This is a good day out but this time we where a bit flat on leaving.

Thank IAN H
