We ordered green Thai curry and Pad Thai and both were tasty and fresh - the veg cooked to a T. Really nice spacious restaurant with a lot of privacy. A little hidden away at first floor level but a real gem

This is the second time at this restaurant. The first time I would have rated it as fair to good. It does have little or no atmosphere, being the old snooker hall. This time the menus were caked in food so much so that the pages were stuck together. 70's Wimpy bar feel about it, meaning you handled it with a pinched thumb and forefinger at arms length. Not a good start. Ordered the Tom yum prawn soup. A thin watery soup base with two quartered button mushrooms, three prawns, a few chopped raw spring onions and some old chewy bits of lemongrass. Followed by Jungle curry. Guess what the same thin watery soup base this time with a couple of pieces of cold cardboard chicken and some sweetcorn floating in it. Even came in the same bowl. Sent it back as it tasted identical. Because it was identical. Kebab shop next door has slightly more variation.

Dear Reviewer, I sorry you were not happy with your food on your recent visit. I did try to explain to you the difference between the soups and Jungle curry but you were not interested in listening or my offer of a replacement dish.

The difference between the Jungle curry and Thai soups are as follows, Jungle curry is a water based curry which does not use coconut milk, it does share the same base ingredient as Thai soups "Chili oil" but that is where the similarity ends. The ingredients are completely different, the Thai soups use Galangal (Thai ginger) and Lemongrass as its herbs, the Jungle curry uses, finger root, kaffir lime leaves, peppercorns, Thai holy basil, none of these appear in the soups and the taste of the dishes are very different.

I can assure we have not become complacent, we are continually growing as a business and strive to bring our customers the best service and authentic Thai food. Your review is not in line with other reviews received and I hope that Trip Advisor users look past your review and onto to all the other lovely other reviews we have received recently.

Hadn't booked and the place was very busy but they managed to seat us which we were so grateful for. The food was wonderful, one of the best Thai meals we've had. Really look forward to returning. Staff very helpful and friendly. Wish we lived nearer.

Arrived at the restaurant on a wet lunch time. It is not the best entrance but the food makes up for this. We where made to feel very welcome. The menu was varied and good deals where available if you want ted.
The food was served was of a high quality and nicely presented.
It had a varied wine list with on tap larger.
It is defiantly a place we will visit again and it would be ideal for a big party celebration.
