“Friendly staff, and gluten-free cakes you wouldn't know were gluten-free!”

I regularly eat at Tansy's - and have got to know the menu well! It's home-cooked, and the specials are often surprising and unusual - like the cauliflower and horseradish soup I had this week - deee-licious!
Gluten-free options are varied and - honestly - I couldn't tell that eh butterfly cakes were anything other than delicious, light and airy sponge cake.. Heartily recommended..

“Gluten free”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Great place to avoid wheat! Tansy's always has a warm welcome and excellent gluten free cake and other meals on offer. I have always enjoyed my visits there. The staff are friendly and helpful, and if the weather permits it is lovely to sit outside. I always feel the food is good , home- made fare which is great value. Why go anywhere else?

“Charm,Care and Character”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

This cosy welcoming cafe is a jewel in the crown! Its popularity is not only due to the tasty snacks available but there is also a delightful aura of warmth and friendliness that exudes from the caring and charming staff and seems to spread to all their happy customers. It is one of those places that suggests "there are no strangers here, only friends you have yet to meet"!

“Cheap, cheerful and cosy”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Just a tiny little space tucked away off the main market square in Ringwood, this cosy cafe offers a quiet haven and good value.Reminiscent of Miss Marple in terms of clientele out of season, it becomes very popular with walkers and cyclists in warmer weather as it is a stone's throw from the river Avon and the many footpaths and cycleways that run along or close to the disused railwayline. Breakfast is excellent and there is always homemade soup available, but the service is obliging and basically, they will cook whatever you ask for - within reason! Most people drop in for coffee and Tansy's excellent cakes.
