Read reviews of Good & Bad expierences on here before going. Have to say the bad ones must be people who didnt take time out to read information about refurb work or speak with staff about it. There are reasons why some cages are atad bad but you can see they are working to improve but all birds & reptiles looked happy & displays were great. well worth a visit and speaking with staff to find out more on the birds and the site.

Thank knibo

This centre is a great little day out. Some of the reptiles they had were huge and quite scarey even behind glass but the kids loved em ! The variety of birds of prey they hold are superb and my son especially liked Mrs Jones the "Great Grey Owl". The display the handler put on was very informative and obviously not an easy task to keep kids attention, but I thought he did a very good job and the birds were well behaved too. It was very sad to hear though that this lovely place does not get any funding of any description, which you would of thought this is vitally important considering the job these sort of people are trying to do by running a small place like this and making sure these kind of animals are well looked after and survive and what a grand job they are trying to do. The entrance fee is minimal and well worth it. Will definitely go back again.

We found this by accident and really enjoyed it. You certainly feel that they need the support and the money - the place does look a little tired - but the flying display was really impressive as was the variety of birds. Definitely worth a visit.
