What a place, no matter what time of the year you travel through it. The scenery is well worth taking a car ride through the park areas, and interesting little villages, many inviting and old Inns to pop into, all very friendly, and the meals generally are very good, they have to be to compete with other places who would welcome you also. Its easy to get around, you have to drive slowly, and that's good, as it makes it a restful drive with time to take in the scenery. You will most certainly need a camera with you, even if its only to snap the wild horses and roaming pigs, while you dodge the cattle meandering across your path. Yes, a delightful forested area to visit any time of the year.
