“Gorgeous forest and wood area”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Being able to see horses just wandering around free was just beautiful. Would love to explore more of this forest but unfortunately we need to move on.

“The New Forest Hampshire in England”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

I absolutely love the New Forest which covers such a wide area, there is plenty of wildlife to see especially in the warmer spring and summer months.
For the reptile enthusiast there are Adders, Smooth snakes, Grass snakes, and Lizards, most of which you are not allowed to touch as they are a protected species.
You may see the horses and ponies which graze the park and forest, some of which are so freindly that they will come close to the shops or outside of them!
The New Forest has the fair share of family pubs/restaurants where tasty fare can be consumed, along with a good selection of local ales, to quench your summer thirst.
The forest is full of items of interest for the budding botanist such as the wild and tasty blackberries that grow abundantly, the Elder flower, the fungi and wild flowers.
The New Forest is surely a place on earth that should be visited often.
There are cycle tracks, for the cyclist and you are able to hire cycles for the family to see as much of this beautiful countryside as possible, but keep in mind you may be inclined to visit again and see the parts that you missed on another day.
The New Forest Enjoy !

“Beautiful country side”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

Lots to explore, if only we had more time. Lovely to see the ponies and cattle grazing around the area. A few hold ups as they loved to stand in the middle of the road.

“Get close to nature!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Drive over the noisy cattle grid and suddenly you are transported to another world. A forest, not all dense and creepy, but a nice calm friendly one, where the ponies, cattle and deer can be seen close up. In fact you need to drive slowly and carefully as the ponies know that you are the visitor to their domian, as they graze right by the side of the road. Go and visit, you can't fail yo be impressed with nature!
