We found this centre to extremely interesting and informative. The information was displayed on easy to read boards on the walls around the centre. In addition there is a short film about the New Forest and some of the displays have audio information as well. There are guides on hand to assist where necessary. This is well worth a visit.

This centre is a real surprise. It's so good for children and adults alike: well laid out with excellent displays and inter active spaces. Coupled with an excellent gift shop it is well worth a visit.it has been enhanced by the new coffee/tea shop.

This is a lovely centre which explains a lot about the New Forest, his history and wildlife. There are interactive activities aimed at children and is a great place to spend an hour or two.

We had been in the new forest for a few days and it wasn’t until the last day we found time to look around Lyndhurst and this place was right by the car park.
Free to get in and full of really interesting information. The kids could do a quiz and the were also some activities happening at just £1 per child (maybe as it was half term). What they did well was give you enough information without throwing too much at you. We spent about 90 mins here and left feeling like we knew a lot more about the New Forest so hats off to you for doing a fantastic job.
