Fox and hounds is in the centre of Lyndhurst when we first walked passed bar area looked full but there was no one eating at the tables eating, which made us think a bit because other places nearby where full. So we checked out the menu then went for a walk and looked at some of the eating places in the town, however the liver and bacon that was on the menu was calling us back. Upon our return we ordered liver and bacon, with mash and a jug of Pims. The total was £26 including the drink. Well when we got the liver and bacon there was 4-5 good sized pieces of liver plenty of back and onion. But the mash was a bit disappointing as it was a massive pile of chips, but we thoroughly and enjoyed it and next time we visit Lyndhurst and need a meal we would be happy to visit this pub.
