We enjoyed a first class meal, perfectly presented, in super relaxed surroundings. Very attentive and welcoming staff.

It's been a while since we had been to the Three Lions, but four of us returned for a birthday treat.

From the moment you enter you feel at home, a warm welcome and a quick drink in reception before we were taken to our table.

I chose the Three Lions because it is never disappointing. I love the relaxing atmosphere. Nothing seems rushed and this country restaurant is just a delight. The menu is interesting and thought provoking and all of us had great food. The service is just right and our guests were really impressed with my choice so thanks to everyone at the Three Lions.

And to the person that gave this two stars last month ago. Are you sure you were actually visiting this place ? Perhaps the vino was flowing way before you got there ;)

We had meant to get to the Three Lions to try it out for a couple of years. We ended up, having been out to Fordingbridge, popping in for an in-promtu Saturday lunch. The weather was perfect and so we were keen to eat in the garden.

The venue is good and the menu is fresh - hence the chalk board criticised by an earlier review. We were just going for a passing lunch so just wanted a main course (ended up with a pudding as well). They were very accommodating and set up a table outside. The garden is beautiful and this is a lovely place for an outdoor meal. Service was very friendly and the food was excellent. It was perhaps just a tad short of Michelin star - but only just. Imaginative, local, well prepared food. Excellent vegetarian food (my wife is vegetarian and often ends up with indifferent options). the puddings looked so good we indulged in two between four with 4 spoons.

We will be back (without the children) to stay overnight so we can enjoy a dinner here.

Recommended for romantic summer evenings.

A lovely setting for a relaxed lunch, whether eating inside with the gorgeous light seeping in the big windows or sitting in the quite garden being treated to fabulous food and drinks a plenty.
The staff were very friendly and offered great knowledge of both food and drinks.
The food certainly lived up to the vivacious words on the chalk board and little touches like olives and nuts on waiting tables made it even more welcoming.

Fabulous building with 5 star food.

Our lady server answered every question about the menu that 6 fussy people could throw at her.
Even the vegetarian option that wasn't on the menu.

The food was excellent .
I had the faggot and liver starter. It lived up to its billing.
I had the half lobster in an excellent sauce.
Everybody enjoyed their meal and the wine was good.
