We were warmly greeted by Cathy with tea and biscuits in the lounge. We had a lovely room, which was spacious, warm and very comfortable. Cathy's breakfasts were amazing! We also were entertained by the birds and squirrels in the garden. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again when next visiting our son at Winchester university. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing!

Wow what a little gem the location is so peaceful and idyllic. If you can’t get a good nights sleep here then I don’t know where you can, the breakfast was amazing!!! The hosts were absolutely brilliant I can’t praise this place enough and will definitely be returning as soon as possible

Arrived late afternoon and was greeted by John, who straight away offered us tea and biscuits, which was very welcome. When Cathy came in she showed us to our room, and to our surprise and delight, she had upgraded us to their luxuary Celtic Suite. An extremely comfortable room with great views over the lovely garden. We asked John where we could have an evening meal and he suggested a local pub and even booked us a table. We had an amazing night's sleep in the very comfortable bed and the extremely quiet surroundings. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Cathy was very helpful in suggesting places to visit. Our second night was equally as comfortable and also the breakfast was as good. Would thoroughly recommend this B&B. The warm welcome from Cathy and John made for a very pleasant stay.

We were welcomed with tea, coffee and biscuits on the garden terrace. Beautiful view of garden and great to relax after a car journey.

Our room was very comfortable, clean and although the large family bathroom was adjacent it was solely ours and clean. (We were aware of this prior to our stay)

Fantastic breakfast in a lovely room with views of the garden. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogurt . Breakfast menu is good as you can tailor it to your tastes.

The host was lovely and looked after us very well.

Highly likely to return. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is great and the garden very inviting to linger in and relax. We will come back for sure! It is the proper English country side. A short and beautiful walk along the test river to Stockbridge.
