Had it not been for the waiter walking around the restaurant with dripping blood, this review would receive an average.
This pub is an average Fayre and Square venue with the usual formulaic interior, mass produced food and standard menu. Not particularly bad but certainly not exceptional.
We were perturbed by a waiter with a blood stained dish cloth tightly clad around his wrist. It was blood stained and was clearly suffering some form of laceration. Accidents happen but to allow this waiter to continue his duties is unacceptable and I am sure that the venue would receive a quick reprimand if identified by the local Environmental Health Officer. The duty manager of this pub appeared to be unfazed by this behaviour. Fortunately, our meal was delivered by some one else!
Needless to say, as management controls at this chain are clearly wanting, we will not use Fayre and Square ever again.
