We stayed here on business for one night only, considering we stay in b&b's 3 nights a week every week, this is the best one we have stayed in for months and months. value for money was excellent!
- Free Wifi

A friend and I stayed in this B&B for two nights as the location was perfect to attend a wedding. The rooms are in a self contained building, separate to the main house. The living area consists of sofas, dining area and a kitchenette, perfect for preparing snacks. There are two bedrooms - one twin and one double, both en suite. The layout of the house is such that is lends itself to being booked by a group requiring the two rooms. We did not know the couple in the other room and the DIY breakfast (consisting of plentiful cereals, toast, croissants, juice, meats and cheeses etc) was a little awkward to prepare with strangers. The rooms and the house in general was very clean and the owners easy to deal with. My only request would be for thicker curtains/blinds in the bedroom as the sunshine poured through them from dawn. The location is great - very peaceful and the horses outside would be lovely to look at if traveling with children. Take care with the location as the house is set back from the road which I didn't realise when traveling there in the dark; the taxi driver did not know how to get there. There is a small sign which I noticed when light but being prepared would have made it easier!
I would stay here again if in the area
We have stayed at Abbotswood Orchard BnB twice now - both times as a family group (with my husband and parents ) to attend family weddings.
The accommodation is self contained and beautifully clean. The two bedrooms are well appointed and a good size. The beds were very comfortable with nice warm duvets and we all slept well. No comfy chairs in bedrooms as there is a lounge area downstairs - this is great when both rooms are booked out by the same party, but I guess could be a little uncomfortable if sharing the building with strangers. The bathroom had a shower rather than a bath and a plentiful supply of hot water - though we could smell fuel oil when the hot water was on.
We could have done with more substantial curtains and blinds in the bedroom (so much light came though they might as well not have been there) - however, this is a very specific requirement of traveling with a nosy baby...and wouldn't have been a problem if the bedroom was just being used for adults to sleep in.
The breakfast is a 'do-it-yourself' selection of breads/croissant/meats/cheeses/yogurts/cereal which, again, is great as family group but might lead to difficulties if sharing with people you don't know.
The bnb was perfect for us - it was great that we didn't have to sit with our baby daughter in the room in the evening and we very much enjoyed seeing the rabbits, horses and woodpeckers. However, if you want luxurious pampering then this is not the bnb for you - i think the price tag (a very reasonable 60 ppn) represents this!
This B&B is set in a countryside location, and the accommodation is self contained away from the adjacent owner’s property. There is a double and a twin bedroom which can be taken by two couples or a family. Downstairs is a large lounge/dining area. There are TVs in the bedrooms as well as one in the lounge. Breakfast is self service. Bread, cold meats, cheese, butter, marmalade, orange juice, tea and coffee as well as cereals and croissants. Outside there are some horses and a couple of sheep. The whole experience is a breath of fresh air. We would definitely stay here again.
