We had tapas at lunchtime, the service was friendly and helpful. Although a few things were unavailable ,all the food was lovely and it was a pleasant change from a pub lunch, just a pity it poured down and we had to dash inside!

After hearing many good reports from friends about Annie Jones, we were not disappointed. We had a brilliant evening and the food was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and efficient, also the atmosphere was great. We can't wait to go again !!

Came with friends for tapas a couple of weeks ago, whilst food was nice, I don't think the selection was as good as last year and several of the dishes came out more like mini-restaurant meals. They looked and tasted nice, but difficult to share - when you have pureed sauces etc decorating them so beautifully.
Service was very attentive, but don't like the fact the service charge is already added to the bill as it always seems rather churlish to ask for it to be taken off. This might be fine for the main restaurant, but not for a tapas bar.

We tried the tapas bar for the first time for lunch (we are fairly regular at the restaurant) and the food was outstanding and the atmosphere refreshing. Value is reasonable until you discover on the bill £4 for an espresso. And it does not come with sweeties. The previous time I'd enjoyed dinner here, I thanked the proprietor for an exceptional meal but suggested they might like to reconsider the price of the coffee. Although cordially thankful for my feedback, they obviously disagree with me because the price is still the same. Here is a quote from The Times mag, 07/06/14 of a review of a London restaurant: '£4 each (before service) for.. double espressos is pricing that I consider bold to the point of aggressive'
Petersfield has a few fine restaurants, and establishments such as the excellent FEZ realise that you don't want to leave the customers with a nasty taste in the mouth with an overpriced coffee having first fed them with a selection of exquisite tasting delights! Good restaurant but pity I had to go public on this one, having previously ignored me.

We live locally and visit the restaurant frequently and are always pleased, so we thought we’d try the Tapas bar next door as it has an over-21 policy on Friday. Although the staff were generally friendly we found there was no where at all to sit (even the 3 bar stools were occupied) for a drink as it was totally reserved. It would have been helpful if the bar staff had pointed this out to us BEFORE we ordered a jug of Pimms (£15, so not cheap). The reserved table notices are flat and not obvious when you are ordering drinks. In the event we sat at a table with a reserved notice on it as there was no where else to go. The staff pointed out that it was reserved, but didn’t mind if we vacated it before the time on it. This meant 20 mins to drink a jug! We did manage, but felt we’d had to rush (though the staff did not hassle us at all), which made it a less pleasant experience. Note to restaurant- tell patrons that it is full before they order a jug. Note to customers- ask if there will be anywhere to sit (the bar is too small at stand at).
