I came to eat with my friend. We had booked a table in advance and when we got to the restaurant we were shown to a table in the corner by the door. It was really draughty and cold so we asked the woman serving us if we could possibly move as the restaurant seemed empty. She responded saying "we are fully booked" so we tried to grin and bear it but after a while we realised the restaurant wasn't filling up and we were still wearing our coats we come to this restaurant a lot and have always enjoyed it in the past and for the first time considered leaving before we had even ordered our food but asked a young girl if we could move again, she said that was fine and showed us to another table. It seemed like no trouble at all, contrary to what we were told at first. After our meal we enquired as to who the woman who refused for us to move was and we were told she was the new assistant manager. The meal was fantastic and the service over all was great. But to receive the service that we did from your NEW assistant manager was very disappointing. We feel the rest of the team took our feelings into consideration a lot more. Maybe something to look into?
