“Great experience and collection”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

Very impressed with the collection, the museum is literally stacked with motor bikes many of which I have never seen before or heard of. You are really up colse and can really see the bikes and learn the history behind the name. Well run, nice food in the restaurant, easy parking, nice people make this visit a must if you are into motorbikes, even if you are not theres a lot to marvel at. Its great that museums like this keep these bikes in such a condition and on display, well done all round.

“First visit for a 70 year old.”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Along with a friend of similar age we made the 200 miles journey to the museum recently.

We are both interested in competition and road bikes and found the collection outstanding as we had been told by many friends prior to our visit.

It cannot be compared to any other museum, it really is unique.

The member of staff on duty (Bill) was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us make the most of our visit.

Alongside is a pleasant café serving tea, hot meals etc.

Sammy was on site and had a few words, the standard of the exhibits is on par with Sammy's riding, aiming at perfection.

Well worth the long journey.

“Great atraction - Worth visiting”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

This is a very nice museum with a large & well displayed collection.
For motorcyclist or motorcycle lovers, this is an absolut must stop. During spring & summer time a nice bike ride to this museum can be a great day-out plan. I've stopped by chance on my way to purchasing a 70's motorcycle in Christchurch and was thrilled with what I found.
If you are nearby, do not hesitate to visit.
