“A few teething problems but sorted out efficiently.”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

We stayed here in september 2011 as a group of 4 adults and returned this year for a week starting 4th august with 4 adults and 2 kids. On entering our lodge we were slightly disappointed that the lodge wasnt as clean as it had been on our previous visit. My husband went to reception to report this and the situation was rectified quickly. The shop staff seemed disinterested and at times down right rude. And the prices are horrendous. That is the bad bit.

Now for the good. The park overall was very clean and well maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly. (especially the security staff who had to deal with a grown man who was bullying my autistic son.)

The swimming pool was busy but we personally accepted this as being part of holidaying during peak times. In general the evening entertainment was good.

The lodge was spacious and well equiped.

The park is well located and is not far from Bournemouth and Poole. And a trip to the isle of wight is a must as lymington is 5 mins away.

The food in the pub was excellent. We ate there a few times and the food was of excellent quality and great value for money. The drink prices were very reasonable.

We never had to wait very long to use the tennis courts or crazy golf and these were easy to book. I would definately recommend this park.

I went with my mum and dad, got there early and our 4 bed lodge was ready which was great lovely inside, was nicely clean and bright we stayed for 4 nights but had 3 clear days so one day we went to Bournemouth went on a boat trip around the bay, one day stayed on site played some crazy golf and another day we went to muddiefold saw the harbour and had an icecream and a coffee, we went out for a couple of meals one to toby carvery and the harvester and stayed on site on night at the site's own restaurant which was very nice great entertainment entertainment team were great for little ones and for adults there was a vocalist/comedian he was called arnold gutbucket very funny and clever. Would say everyone will love hoburne naish holiday park.

Our family (4 adults and 5 children aged between 2 and 6) have just returned from a 4-night stay at Hoburne Naish. We were delighted with our Solent Lodge (64 The Meadows) and its location, overlooking a very large green. The lodge was very well equipped and clean. All beds were made up and the linen was of good quality. There was plenty of crockery and glasses and having the dishwasher was an extra bonus. The whole site is well maintained and the staff helpful and friendly. We had a slight problem with a blocked kitchen sink - no sooner mentioned than mended. Hoburne Naish is in a good spot near the Bournemouth beaches and surrounded by the New Forest. The weather was good enough for us to spend an afternoon on the nearest beach, which was just a 15 minute walk away. Our one rainy day was partly spent in the indoor pool. This is quite splendid and benefits from a recent makeover. As well as the large pool, there is a glorified paddling pool which suited the younger members of the family very well. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was acceptable, certainly not gourmet, but the children tucked in and the service was good and speedy.

The only negative comment I can make is concerning the evening entertainment for young children. This starts at 6:00 which is fine, but they are just getting into their stride when the bingo books go on sale. They then have to sit quietly while the adults play bingo (or go off to the children's room to watch a DVD). After the bingo they have another hour or so of fun but the youngest ones in our party were too tired to stay for this. You have a lovely family friendly site Hoburn, but this just smacks of commercialism and I was very disappointed. So much so that despite all the good points, this would make me think twice about coming back.

We are a family of 4 (2 children aged 7 & 4). We haven't been to this part of the word and wanted comfortable accommodation and a good place to explore from.

The accommodation didn't let us down! We stayed in a Becton Lodge and it was fantastic. It looks brand new. Spotlessly clean; comfortable sofas; carpet under your feet; 3 comfortable bedrooms and fresh, clean bathrooms with power showers. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need in it. Flatscreen TV's everywhere (the children coudln't believe they had their own TV in their bedroom!) and full Sky, an Xbox 360 and iPod docking station which streams music out of the ceiling. Fantastic.

On the wider site, it is OK but generaly not worth staying on site for. Crazy Golf is tired; the shop is expensive; customer service in the bar/pub has been patchy. But being in such a wonderful part of the world, we weren't here to stay on site anyway. The beach is minutes away and is glorious; Bournemouth, Christchurch and a miriad of other fantastic places are within 30 minutes drive.

It's not cheap (£1.1k for Monday-Friday) and we couldn't check in until 4pm on Monday and had to check out at 10am on Friday.......so really only 3 full days. But we had a great family holiday and would consider coming back.

Hobourne Nash holiday park was a really nice holiday park to go to and we went their nearly every year.
The lodges and the chalets were very nice and the lodge we stayed in chewton cliffs was very nice and th beds very very comfortable, the living room had lovely furniture and carpets and the television had free view, which some don't normally have and the bathroom had a lovely bath with bubbles coming out of it.
The swimming pool was great and it had a lovely kids pool to run around in.
When we went to the restaurant, they served up lovely food and the desserts were absolutely Devine and when we went to the entertainment in the evening they were very funny and witty.
After a week, we left and we were going to miss it, we will be back again soon!!

Views across the bay wonderful , booked a private cabin through Daltons weekly ,and purchased club house passes before we arrived a little cheaper and ready for collection at reception on arrival, the indoor pool has been renovated to a fantastic facility , with a small pool great for little ones, The beach is nice and safe , nice pleasant stroll through a little woodland .
All other main beaches not far ie Boscombe Bournermouth Mudiford etc , and New Forest ,
The only change is more and more cabins and large holiday home ,

The club house cannot cope with the all the people on the park , if you don't get there early for bingo , you have had it for a seat !!!
hence stayed in cabin every other night , as fed up with not getting seats/table for family of 4
been going to park for 13 yrs so seen some big changes , try it for a short weekend , needs bigger club house to address the large amount of people at peak times

Room Tip: google private bookings Hobourne Naish great list of private rental acc
