These gardens are a delight, and feature the most spectacular walled garden we have seen anywhere, a super combination of well-kept flower garden and kitchen garden. The grounds around this centrepiece are attarctive, with lakes and sculptures, and not overly-large - a gentl 30 minute stroll will take in most things, but plenty of scope for enjoying for longer. Don't miss the small and eccentric chinese-pagoda-style hen house! The cafe serves light lunches and snacks, individually created and served in an unusual and restful courtyard setting.
