Car park is just not big enough for the hotel, when car park is full, which happens frequently, and you park outside of a bay you get a £100 parking fine and very rude reception staff who say nothing to do with them. Food was awful and very bad service. Will not be going back.

Stayed in an 'Upper Deck' luxury room on the top floor. Room was modern but fairly small. Sadly it was also overlooking the car park and directly over the smoking area in front of the hotel which was incredibly noisy as there was a busy function on.

Lighting in the room was dim which is fine if you have the option to have it brighter if needed (you don't!)

Tea tray looked to be an afterthought on a low awkwardly placed table & there was nowhere to plug the kettle other than directly under bedside light (which probably explains missing bulb). There was no luggage stand or table / chair apart from one by the mirror.

Room was very dusty, rainfall shower head in desperate need of descaling and also not great if you don't want to get your hair wet. Light fitting on ceiling above bed hanging loose. There were black marks on the bedding.

Plus side, nice modern decor, comfortable bed & quality bedding. Fluffy towels & nice toiletries in bathroom.

Had a drink in the bar but really slow & poor service, had to wait 15 mins to get served as the function was just starting and there weren't enough staff on.

Breakfast was ok - buffet style. Got there early as previous experience taught me later at the weekend is a total bun fight especially when there was a function the night before.

Has potential to be great but overpriced at the moment so won't be staying again.

This hotel is conveniently located to an office park. It is a shame I do not want to stay there again. I have never stayed at a hotel without toiletries before. Not even a bar of soap. Truck stop quality soap dispensers at the sink and in the shower. One towel. Just stingy and not a cheap place to warrant the frills free environment. The bed was good and comfy. No minibar. A tea kettle nowhere near an outlet. Just an odd place. No alarm clock and reception missed wake up calls two mornings out of 4. Checkout on a Friday took 45 minutes with one lady processing the many business travelers checking out. Room service is fast and pretty good. The breakfast which is included is very nice and the service at breakfast was good. I thought the lobby was pretty. Gym ultra crowded with local customers. I think this could be a nice place. I guess they are saving money but I think in the wrong places. Toiletries for sale at reception like a Motel 6. Sheets/duvet only changed on the 3rd day. Won't stay there again.

Hotel has very comfortable rooms. Very clean. Staff are not the most efficient. The main fault with this hotel is that every time I have stayed there has been a large function on down stairs. The smoking area is at the front of the hotel which made me feel like I was trying to sleep above a night club. In fairness I was moved the same evening but moving rooms at midnight is not the greatest thing in the world when all you want to do is sleep.

Hotel okay... Nice and clean and staff friendly enough. Bar drinks and food overpriced but probably the same as in most hotels. Men might not mind but for ladies trying to get ready I'm hard pushed to find enough light to see what make up I' m putting on! I like subdued lighting but also like a decent light if I need it!
There are no toiletries in the room or drawers or cupboards... Just a wardrobe so l think the facilities are not good enough for a hotel at these nightly rates.

I stayed here for a business trip on 1 night, sun 24 nov. i arrived late approx 10:50. The staff were polite and pleasant and got me checked in promptly. Room was on the second floor. Double, nicely decorated and looked out over the car park. The TV in room didn't work not sure if it was remote as i coudn't get it turned on at all, contstant flickering light which maybe suggested batteries?? But as i was late and i was staying only for 1 night i didn't mind. Also the bedside light flickered and crackled a bit which was worrying, anyway i turned off with a note to report in the morning which i did. The bathroom and shower were modern but lacked toiletries. As i had travelled via plane and only stayed for 1 night i had not carried many toiletries like shampoo or shower gel as i thought i could get them at the hotel but the soap at sink was in a large bottle attached to wall and was empty. Shower gel was available but as a lady would have liked some conditioner! Breakfast was standard, bacon, poached eggs (mine smelled off) there were no sausages the selection also had mushrooms, tomatoes and beans which i did not take. There was also a fuit salad, selction of small pastries, and cereal available. I may be back for another trip but will know to bring more toiletries and perhaps get down earlier for a better selection of breakfast?

I usually stay at the aviator, which is more expensive. Now this place is pretty good, not as plush as next door as it were, but actually pretty good. Restaurant not bad, the gym excellent. For a gym attached to a hotel I'd say really very good. The bar was lively more pub like, which can be nice. The staff were good, but a bit rushed off. I'd recommend.
