i recently visited deans diner in whiteley with my son after a shopping trip. Having completed our mornings shopping we were looking for a place to eat. There are several restaurants to visit here but chose deans as it was recommed by a friend and we have also eaten at deans in port solent. We asked for a table for two and were told a 30 minute wait was to be expected. Much to our delight we were seated within 2 minutes and our order was taken straight away! If you visit here i would recommend to try the milk shakes. They are to die for. Are food came in short time and tasted fresh. The portion sizes are big here which is always a bonus when you have a hungry son. On the negative side the food is a tad pricey but where isnt. Also one thing i didnt like about the resturant was the layout. we were cooped up in a corner right next to the wall in a small wing which seems very cut off from the main body of the restaurant.

Great Burgers and Milkshakes. Have had the the Coffee and the Nutella Milkshakes. Both big portions which gave us 2 glasses. The burgers were good size and very tasty. Will be going again.

We went there for a bank holiday treat...we had not planned on any certain restaurant we just wanted to try the new ones out in whitely...ever single restaurant had a 30 min plus wait and Deans DIner was no different apart from they seemed to want to help us get a table ASAP

The place is great, if your like me and my family who grow up on the film grease and happy days you feel like you've been transformed back in time to 1950's America..they have a fab juke box playing mainly older American rock songs which we loved...

The food was ok...your standard American diner food..burgers fries etc nothing ground breaking or worthy of a mitchalin star but still very nice...that said the "malt shakes" are to die for, as are the stack of pancakes!

We had a lovely evening, the staff were lovely and friendly the service was fast and the price was low...we loved it so much we intend to hold our daughters birthday party there!

Had to wait 30 minutes from ordering to getting food. Food was barely warm, burgers overcooked and dry. Not a patch on Southampton west quay.
