The deck house is small but perfectly adequate for the two of us.It has a lounge / kitchen and two bedrooms and a bathroom. The view from the lounge is beautiful as you are able to see a pond with all the birds on it and to the right is a lovely view of the sea.You are able to walk to the sea in two minutes .
The location is very quite and peaceful but you can easily walk to the deck cafe and just a 10 minute walk into emsworth .Emsworth has many lovely shops where you can buy fresh produce .There are also some lovel cafes and restaurants to got
We have been here a few times and hopefully will return
Simply furnished but comfortable this was an ideal base for a week of relaxation and walking along some of the many miles of attractive coastal trails in the area. The location of 10 Avocet is probably the best of all the deck houses on the development, with a pretty pond in front and the harbour on the right. The pretty town of Emsworth is a short walk away, and it has everything needed in the way of shops, pubs and restaurants for a well-catered break. Two negative points: the triple 2nd bedroom (which we used only for clothes storage) is really too small for 3 people, even very small people; the occupants of the bunk beds would be forced to climb over the poor person sleeping on the pull-out bed just to get out of bed. Secondly,. despite us leaving the property almost as clean and tidy as it was when we arrived, it took us nearly a month and several e-mails to persuade the letting agents to return our (not unsubstantial) deposit, which was not really acceptable.
