Just returned from a 3 night stay here and would like to thank all the staff for making us feel so welcome. They were all, without exception very friendly, courteous and helpful.
We dined in the restaurant on our last evening and our food was very well cooked and presented. The service was excellent.
The bar, lounge and reception areas appear newly refurbished and are attractive and comfortable.
The room decor wasn't what I would have chosen but was clean and comfortable and very quiet despite hotel being rather busy.No ear plugs needed for a good nights sleep.
I would return if visiting the area again.

Hotel is quite pretty with nice gardens etc. comfortable and nicely styled common areas. Comfortable contempary rooms - stayed here with my Mum in a twin room for my cousin's wedding, (bed was very comfortable slept really well) shower could have done with some anti limescale treatment, otherwise though no complaints, plenty of parking. Evening buffet the hotel provided was very tasty.

Booked the Brookfield after wanting a fairly cheap weekend away not too far away from home. The brookfield was a hidden treasure amongst all the regular chains that I have stayed in.

The hotel was personal and cosy, staff were friendly and we felt very welcome, it is unique and has a great homely feel. Room / bathroom were immaculately clean and spacious!

Zultan the night porter was fantastic even going the extra mile and offering me his own coat when I was cold outside. Thank you!

I Can't wait to go back, went to re book the weekend just gone and it was full so stayed somewhere else and it didn't compare to the Brookfield despite being a higher star rating and popular chain..

Well done on a great hotel!

A big thank you to you Jamie and all your very well managed, very pleasant and very capable staff for making our party a complete success.

The venue of the Hermitage room including the garden looked and worked fantastically well.

The food was truly top notch, plentiful and served just at the right moment to keep the day / evening flowing.

The dance floor was alive with dancing (of various types!) from the moment Teddy the DJ started doing his thing until the very end.

We had an absolute ball, that will live in our memory for a very long time.

Our overnight room was beautiful and allowed us to relax, prepare and dress with no rush beforehand and relax at the end of the evening.

Breakfast was a complete delight, a truly “freshly cooked to order” full English with all the trimmings, we believe it is the best we have ever had anywhere.

The feedback we have had from our party guests endorses all that we have said above and I am sure they will and very much hope that they will be very seriously considering the Brookfield for their future events.

So in short a resounding success.

We would like to conclude by letting you know that from the moment we first discussed the party with you, your guidance, advice, expertise and true professionalism gave us complete that confidence we had made the right decision in choosing the Brookfield.

So keep up the good work, as what you deliver at the Brookfield is actually quite special and unique and something that you and your staff should be very proud of, which we are sure you are.

Hope to see soon and thanks again.

Stayed here as we was working in the area, it was a late booking. We turned up in a hgv concrete lorry and instead of asking what we was doing, the the guy on the desk back us in to a space or spaces should I say. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ate in the resteraunt which was really nice. I won't go on, all I'll say is just a really nice place all round and not that expensive. Oh and bill clintons entourage stayed here a while back.

Dear Hatchy,

Thank you for your review. We are very fortunate that we have a very large carpark which can easily accommodate overnight coaches so a Concrete lorry was not a problem on the night.

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and its great to hear you have made future bookings with us.

Wasn't too sure what to expect as this was a last minute booking, but we were pleasantly surprised. As with previous reviews we were very impressed by the attentiveness of the staff! On arriving in our room we discovered that we were unable to get a wifi connection. Several calls to the front desk later, Dan came up to our room and confirmed that it appeared it was out of range, he therefore moved us to another room downstairs, which was brilliant as it did appear to be bigger. An iron and ironing board was provided on request, and we spent a lovely evening in the garden looking at and listening to the very pretty waterfall and pond area. We didn't eat during our stay so cannot comment on the food, but given how busy the restaurant was, I am sure it was good! Will definitely visit again, the staff really make you feel welcome.

Room Tip: The double room we had downstairs (21) was far bigger than upstairs (31) not sure if this is true of...
