“great place to take children 2 to 11”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

Nice day out if the weather is fine. Lots to do our grandchildren spent a lot of time on the rope swings and slides they live on a farm so there see the farm animals everyday. I liked to look in the barns and see the baby animals up close. The children can feed groom or handle some of the animals and then get a sticker as a reward

“A great day out”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

Small children love this entertaining place, from climbing frames to pony rides, tractors to climb on, petting animals and feeding times and snacks and meals in the cafe. There is lots to do and will keep children entertained all day.

“family visit”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

A good day out . Weather turned bad but indoor facilities available. Staff really nice . especially with young children. Cost seemed high at first but you could stay all day. All indoor facilities were kept clean and tidy. Good value for money

“Finkley Down Farm Park”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

This has been open for about 30 years. I have visited the attraction regularly for 25 of those years. For most of this time, it has offered a nice combination of children's playground, opportunities to observe, touch and feed farm animals and something of the culture of the countryside. The latter included gypsy caravans, a working beehive, playing a game with horseshoes and an exhibition of farm equipment and a recreated Victorian farmhouse room. All of these things have, regrettably, disappeared, along with many of the animals and birds. The donkeys, peacocks, most of the hens and ducks, touch and feel barn, most of the pigs and other animals. If the trend continues, only the fake cow, which can be "milked", will remain. In their place, there is an expanded playground and a newly created, large, indoor area, containing numerous tables and chairs, an indoor adventure playground and the opportunity to fire soft balls out of cannons. Although all of this seems to be popular with visitors, those who wish to feel that they have visited a farm are likely to be disappointed and should look elsewhere.

“Great day Out”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

I took my two granddaughters and we had an amazing time, at first glance I thought that it was small, but they had something every hour, a large indoor play area, outdoor play parks and a very reasonable priced cafe. There was an opportunity to get involved with something every hour, petting a mouse, a chick, grooming a horse and then the sheep race which was awesome, so funny. I would recommend it as a day out where you could spend around 4 hours.
