Dropped in on Easter Saturday without a reservation. Was fortunate to get last dining table as pub was very busy. Looked after by same person throughout, as were other tables - a nice touch. Knowledgeable and ready to customise the dining experience. You can choose the strength of the spice in your dinner. Waitress recommended suitable real ale and promptly executed my order. Starter and main course were amazing - generous number of good sized king prawns in Thai Curry. Was then tempted into sweet. Lovely banana fritters. Key strengths - customer experience, great food, great building, real ale and value for money too. Well worth seeking out this country pub.
