“Perfect Relaxing Weekend”

Had an amazing two nights in Anna's beautiful shepards hut!! Such a friendly and warm welcome, with plenty of yummy treats!! Would highly recommend having some steak too.
The perfect getaway with an idealic landscape, you really felt a sense of calm sat by the roaring chimney in the evenings.

I have to mention of course the fantastic hot tub!!! Building a fire to heat the the water was so much fun, then jumping in with the stars above you was bliss!! Anna also provided us with bubbly too.

The bed was extremely soft with the slippers and robes to match.

A short walk through the woods lead you to the local pub, follow the orange trail. Anna was very helpful with recommendations and directions, maps were also available.

I will be visiting again!! It was paradise!!

You must visit Frenches Farm!!

Thank You so much Anna

Charlie & Ben xx

P.S. The pictures don't do it justisy!!!

“Perfect romantic escape!”
Reviewed May 19, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We arrived late afternoon and were cordially greeted by Anna who showed us up to the Shepherds hut. It is ideally located in a private field, overlooking gently rolling meadowland and the patchwork fields of Hampshire.
This cleverly designed hut is equipped with everything you need for the perfect weekend away with a loved one – a wood-burning hot tub and chilled prosecco, along with a gas BBQ and chiminea to make the most of the long summer evenings, and board games and an electric stove for when the sun fades. Anna had stocked the fridge to the brim with delicious goodies including steaks, sausages, bacon, duck eggs, butter, fruit juice and the aforementioned prosecco. There were also homemade flapjacks and brownies for us to enjoy.
The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in and there is nothing more wonderful than waking up in the morning and throwing open the door to those stunning countryside views. There is a separate bathroom (bedecked in fairy lights) in a wooded area behind the hut – this is equipped with a toilet, basin, hot water and a shower.
Although we only stayed for one night, we really felt like we had got away from it all. I would highly recommended it for those seeking relaxation, recuperation or simply a romantic retreat for a special occasion. My favourite moment was sitting in the hot tub, glass of prosecco in hand, watching the swallows darting overhead as the sun set. Pure magic!

“Fabulous Stay”
Reviewed April 23, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

My wife and I arrived at Frenches Farm to be greeted by Anna who took us to up the Shepherd's Hut. Wow what a location! Anna showed us everything including the wonderful homemade goodies that she had left for us. The fridge was loaded with bacon, sausage and eggs for our breakfast the following morning and a couple of small bottles of fizz. Also with the steaks that Anna recommended for our evening meal, I cooked these on the BBQ that was provided and the were superb.

Anna had pre-heated the hot tube which was just what we needed after a busy week. This was the perfect way to end a busy week and defiantly the best nights sleep that we have had in a while.

What else to say, great hoist, great location, great stay.

Thanks Anna

“A homely stay in a tranquil setting”
Reviewed April 23, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Myself, my partner and our Dog Woody were looking for a peacful escape with easy accessable walking routes. This Shepherds hut came up trumps and exceeded our expectations.
Anna was the perfect Host and made sure we settled in well and was very accomodating.

There were home made goodies and breakfast was all so fresh ready for us to cook in the morning! We ordered the steaks which were perfect on the bbq and the fire pit was great for toasting our marshmallows on for afters.

The hut itself has everything you need, lovely and warm and the bed was so comfortable.
We didnt need to use the car all weekend as there were several walking routes right behind the hut so we went for a lovely walk and came back to the hottub which Anna had kept an eye on and heated it up ready for our return.

We had a brilliant weekend and will definately be back!

“A little slice of paradise in the beautiful Andover countryside!”
Reviewed March 5, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We stayed at Frenches Glamping hut at the end of February and had such a wonderful time. If you are a walker there are plenty of fantastic walks right from the hut - you don't even need to get in your car! If walking is not your thing, you could chill out at the hut, have a BBQ, get in the hot tub, warm up by the fire and enjoy the complete peace and quiet of the stunning countryside.

Hosts Anna and Charlie made us feel so welcome and provided us with great farm produce to cook for breakfast and on the BBQ for dinner. There are also lots of great pubs just a walk away.

We will definitely be visiting again soon!

“Idyllic location and perfectly described - An escape”
Reviewed March 2, 2017 for a stay in August 2016

Anna is the perfect host and thinks of everything, if she doesn't have it she will most definitely find it. The position of the hut makes the most of the far reaching views and I am amazed at just how far you can see, on a good day you can see as far as Winchester and with no houses other than the farm so you get a real feel of seclusion.

You can can pretty much take any vehicle up to the hut but it is off road. There is level access to the toilet/shower but the hut for obvious reasons is not for someone relying on a wheelchair. The access to the countryside from here is great and there are several walks to some very good pub/restaurants, it is also in an are of dark skies.

I cannot think of a better spot for a bbq and Anna & Charlie's home grown beef is delicious, however cooking a steak whilst the beef heard are watching you is a little unsettling!

This is going to be a huge success so my advice is book quickly whilst it is still a hidden secret.

Oh, and well behaved dogs welcome.
