My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. We have used Premier Inn throughout the country on numerous occasions and only once had we any sort of problem. They are always clean, efficient and you know what you are going into. So as soon as you arrive you feel relaxed and "at home". The efficiency, friendliness and overall excellent service that we experienced at our previous stays at Premier Inn Reading (Central) remain in the top 3 off all the hotels we have ever stayed at (Up to and including 5 Star rated hotels).

We arrive in Aldershot after an early start / flight etc. The young woman at reception was very friendly, welcoming and efficient.

During our stay here we experienced a few minor issues.

1. First on the agenda was a cup of tea. At this point I found the heating element in the kettle to be covered with a very strange black coating. It was definitely not hardened water deposits. I don't know what someone was doing with it previously? The girl on reception stated that there were no spare kettle but she quickly replaced it with one from another room.

2. We found the bed was extremely soft. This is strange as the beds in all other Premier Inns have always been very good and to date all of a similar standard regarding comfort/hardness.

3. After the room was serviced the following morning, there were only enough towels left for one person and not two. This was quickly resolved by helping ourselves from one of the service carts sitting along the corridor.

4. The water flow/pressure from the taps was extremely low. This resulted in the running of a bath taking a good 15mins.

5. The water was only luke warm at best. So the bath was cool after it was filled.

6. The toilet flush button was also sticking and very awkward to use.

It is the first time my wife has said that she did not feel "at home" in a Premier Inn.

That said we would likely return if we were in the area. The problems were minor and most were likely relating to our room. I don't know if the water flow/pressure and temp issues were affecting any other rooms. The receptionist at check out did say that the hotel was using an eco water system.

We spent one night at this Premier Inn whilst visiting friends in the local area. We were in the new annex which was right next to the main building. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was good. A few more tea bags and milks would have been nice rather than just enough for one brew, but otherwise, no complaints.

Honestly, try to throw yourself on the bed like in the adverts & you'll go through to the floor.... We had 2 rooms booked and had to give one up as it was so uncomfortable. I really couldn't in good faith recommend this as a place to stay. Avoid.

Stayed a couple of nights at this Premier Inn to attend a family wedding. We stayed in the main building linked to the Brewers Fayre. The room was clean and comfortable and although a freezing cold weekend was toasty warm, in fact we struggled to get it cool enough at night! The staff were warm and welcoming. Had an evening meal in the attached restaurant and ate breakfast there both mornings. The service and food were good value and quality. We would definitely stay again.
