We stayed here overnight whilst in Manchester for a Man Utd game. We booked a triple room for myself, my son and my mate and it consisted of 2 singles and a bunk bed which straddled both singles.
Beds were comfy enough, room was a wee bit tight, and the bathroom was possibly the smallest I;ve ever seen with a shower cabinet, a wash hand basin and a toilet squeezed into what can only be described as a small cupboard. It was a relatively new and worked well though and the shower was hot, so it was more funny than inconvenient.
We didn't eat there but we did use the bar when we came back and this is my only 'complaint'. the lager on tap was bog standard fair, which was fine, but it wasn't a great pint, yet they were charging hotel prices of £4 for a standard pint of Carling which IMO, is excessive, even if it is a hotel.
All in all, served it's purpose as a clean bed for the night, and I would stay here again if I went back for a similar reason. If all you want is a clean base then this fits the bill.More
