This was our first trip to this hotel in Salford (really it's right next to the centre of Manchester) which was easy to find and easy to park, which was useful for us as we were using our 7.5 tonne truck for a mock-up cabin installation at a local Manchester College.

Checking in was straightforward and a pleasant Receptionist told us everything we needed to know for our stay.

The room was basic but functional and there was free wi-fi internet connection too + our requested bath was also available.

We decided to stay at the hotel for our meals and drinks (although you could walk into Manchester if you wished and the Receptionist did offer us a very detailed map to help if needed) and we were offered an excellent service, the Receptionist doubles as the Bar Server and Waitress as well - we selected from the simple menu on both nights and we enjoyed very decent and tasty meals for the cost we paid,

Service was friendly, courteous and professional - things that are ALWAYS appreciated by travellers/guests but NOT always what you receive - so well done to all the staff involved.

Overall this Stay Inn hotel offered excellent value for money in all areas - one thing we would be sure of to ask for next time would be a room which doesn't overlook the main road because having to have a window open in the hotter summer months does make the room noisy.

We would certainly use the Stay Inn at Manchester again if we were in the area and would recommend it to others as well.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel should be quieter if they do not overlook the busy main road. Our sleep quality would have been much better if we had had a room away from the main road.

Stay Inn looked a little rundown online, but when I was there, I was really pleased with their check-in and state of the room. The room also provides hot drinks, which was great given the room rate. The meals served at the restaurant were also decent and value for money. It was just a 15-min walk to the city centre and half an hour to Old Trafford, while not stuck in the bustle so the rest needed after a good football match was great!

Easily found this Hotel just off the Ring Road. Parking is free in a gated area, not sure if they close the gates but a good idea all the same. You are around 10-15 minute walk into Deansgate and the hub of Manchester City Center. The Hotel was manned by Eastern European staff who spoke very good English and were very helpful. The Hotel itself was clean and tidy and very good value, The only downside was the lack of a lift or if there was one I did not see it, I would recommend this Hotel for the price and the location

This is a good budget hotel only 10 minutes walk from the shopping area of Manchester. Rooms facing towards the city (i.e. Manchester) look over a busy road, so are noisy if you have the window open. The staff were friendly and there is free parking.

Room Tip: Rooms on Salford side are probably quieter.

Stayed here for one night me and my partner..its clean, staff are friendly and helpful and in a very convenient location..rooms are small and the bathroom is but for a nite or a weekend its definitely good enough for the price, the car park also locks at night and is free to park
