We stayed here for one night only as we were going to a concert at the Lowry, which is 5 minutes walk away. (By the way, Old Trafford is 15 mins away, so ideal for there too!) We were promptly checked in, and all our dealings with the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room was clean and quiet, and the bathroom was clean too, We were obviously facing the wrong way though, because all we could see was a building site. We stayed on the 9th floor, and I read in someone else's review that they couldn't get wifi. Neither could I! Whether it is a 9th floor issue, or or throughout the hotel, I don't know, but in a hotel in "media city" this could be a major complaint from some travellers.
Breakfast was a full English buffet, which was excellent, if not quite warm enough. We also helped ourselves to pastries, and extra toast and juice. The waiters were very attentive and kept our teas topped up. So all in all a very enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it to anyone.More
