“Will keep your kids (and you) entertained all day”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We found this by chance after a 3 hour drive. What a place. Seemed expensive but once you're in you soon realise that this is fantastic value for money. They have wonderful areas for little ones. The slides are amazing in the barn. The train is great with a play area and animals to spot as it goes around. Make sure you take a picnic as there are so many spots to stop and eat. My 4 yr old loved it. The fort was fantastic and he loved the pets corner. There is a climbing area for older kids. There are toilets all over the place which is great especially when you have kids. Would recommend the trampoline.

“Beware of reviews”
Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

Funny how there are already 3 excellent reviews all on the same day. Could it be the park has offered discounts for people who place a review?? See their Facebook page. Not very impartial and against t&c's. I have given an excellent review previously and I did come yesterday. Reason review is not o good this time is i believe entrance fee this time of year is expensive. Very cold and wet really all you will use are the play barns and prices should reflect this. Also service in cafe was not good although it wasn't busy.

I was a little disapointed to hear your comments and review stating that your visit was not as good as last time. Below is a list of activities and shows which were available everyday throughout the half term.

Play barn 1 open (Drop Slide, Wavy Slide and much more)
Play barn 2 open (Under 6’s area, Tube Slides and much more)
Retreat Café open 10.00-15.30
Ice Rink open (located in the marquee)
Main field (Swings, Trampolines, Castle, Zip Wire)
Boating Lake open
‘New’ Beach Barn open
Jumping Pillows (available if not raining)
Climbing Net (closed till March)
12.30 – Falconry Show in the undercover area outside Play Barn 2
13.15 – Arts & Crafts open (Face Painting, Sand Art and Badge Making)
13.30 – Come and meet the Guinea Pigs in the undercover area outside Play Barn 2
14.30 – Falconry Show in the undercover area outside Play Barn 2

Please note the Farm Trail is very wet and in some places under water. The main field is also very wet; please stick to paths where possible. To see our animals we have lowered the price of the Mini Train to £1.00 per person.

I disagree about only using the play barns, yes if it rains we have those for people to use, but we also still offer all of the above and believe that to be great value. The changeable weather we are experiencing is beyond my control , all I can suggest is that you wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear.

“Great family day”
Reviewed February 20, 2014 via mobile

Really enjoyed our trip and will most certainly be purchasing an annual membership. The kids really enjoyed every part of the place and most of all the play barn was amazing for kids and adults really cannot recommend this place more for families .

“Really great day out”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

Really great, my boys aged (almost 2 and 5) love it here. The two soft play barns a great if the weather isn't brilliant and there are loads of outdoor activities too. The Berkeley Castle and zip wire are a particular hit. I am really impressed with the new beach barn - I can see this being a big hit with my two (they spent a lot of time digging in the sand at the weekend).

Toilets at both the top end and bottom end of the park which is handy - perhaps some changing facilities in the top toilets would be helpful.

The falconry display which takes place is interactive and an added bonus in the price. Cant wait for the weather to pick up a bit so we can try out the boating lake next time we visit.

Refreshments available or take your own if you prefer. We will definitely be visiting again.

Thank you for the review I was glad to hear of your enjoyable time playing in the 'Beach Barn'. We have just opened two baby change facilities at the bottom of the park and have the Splash Pool changing hut for anyone wanting to change.
