We've smartened up our act and carefully selected some great new drinks, so whether you love a perfectly served pint of cask ale, a glass of chilled Pinot Grigio or an ice-cold G & T we are sure you will find something you love.

“Great quality food, great value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

an unusual combination of excellent food, god value for money (£12 for 3 mezze) dishes, good service and even good beer !!

would recommend booking for evening, and would recommend bar area for eating, the restaurant can be a little echoy.

“Getting worse.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

We've been going here for several years and it was always good. However, during the last two times things have gone downhill. Although the chef is convinced that he is cooking monkfish, the meat is flaky and has small bones. I have also had tough beef that the chef calls sirloin steak. Back to school, I think.

I won't be going back. Take your chances if you wish.

“An excellent dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

We were a group of four (two couples) and we all opted for the mezzes. This was after the very helpful waitress explained what they were and how many are typically ordered per person. The pricing structure encourages you to have multiples of three dishes so we each had three with a bit of cross-sampling and this worked out about right.

There was a tremendous choice with some excellent vegetarian options and a wide variety of cuisines ranging from Mediterranean to Moroccan to Indian to Chinese. I had Frittata (eggy potato), Manchego La Mancha (fried Spanish cheese) and wild mushroom croquettes. These were all delicious (although the manchego casing could have been a bit more moist) and the portion size was good. All my companions cleared their plates!

Three of us plumped for sticky toffee pudding as a dessert and I can thoroughly recommend it.

The bill for four of us included three mezzes each, a couple of side orders, a botle of wine and four desserts and came to £90.

We dined early on a Saturday evening when it was very quiet. By the time we left, though, the place was nearly full and there was a buzzing atmosphere.

The service was attentive but not intrusive.

All in all, an excellent meal.

We went here on a Sunday night and found the food and service very good with a relaxed ambience. Good menu at very reasonable prices.
