Went for evening meal here on Friday and the girl behind the bar - i think she said she was called Lauren was absolutely lovely!! As were all the staff. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. Nice welcoming atmosphere. If we visit Blockley again we would definatley come back!!

We stayed in a cottage close to Blockley and found two choices for dinner, The Crown Inn ( recent new management) and the Great Western Arms. We chose this one because the Crown was busy. We found helpful friendly people and a cosy eating area. The food was good, better than your average local pub, but the menu is quite heavy on meat and fried food. The local Hook Norton beer is well worth a try. Overall it met our expectations and didn't disappoint.

A lovely meal with welcoming staff. Think the portions of meat could have been slightly bigger but overall, a great place to go.

We went here one night when staying at the Crown Hotel. The pub has really welcoming staff and the landlady was absolutely lovely even buying my wife and I and 2 friends we met a drink. The locals were also very friendly and it all made for a fantastic evening. The food was absolutely superb with large portions of really good quality local produce at very decent prices. If you are staying at The Crown Hotel take a short walk and spend your evening here. It is great

A group of friends used this venue following a walk in surrounding delightful countryside. Hook Norton beer, brewed locally, is to be highly recommended. The pub is old and quaint, with different levels & odd corners - a lot of work to run, undoubtedly, but admirably clean, attractive and very friendly. It comprises pleasant outside seating and a snooker-room, as well as the comfortable restaurant, and is to be commended for being well used by locals as well as visitors. There is a good choice of tasty food, very nicely presented, and nothing was too much trouble altogether. Some of us had been before, and thought the place is now even better. We greatly enjoyed our visit and plan on returning in the future.
